Once a part of Sahara India Group, Air Sahara was acquired by Jet Airways in April 2007 and was renamed as JetLite. Controlled by Jet Airways, the airline operates scheduled services connecting all the major metropolitan cities in India. Positioned as a value-based airline, JetLite promises to offer value for money, economical fares, ‘Buy on board’ in-flight meals and in-flight shopping. JetLite currently operates a fleet of 23 aircrafts, which include 16 Boeing 737 series and 7 Canadian Regional Jets 200 series.
